The conversation around STIs involves acknowledging increasing rates of transmission in the prairie provinces, while also being mindful of not further perpetuating the stigma associated with having an STI. It also requires looking beyond the conversation around personal responsibility and looking at systemic reasons that explain the rates of STI transmission and acquisition. Join us for a panel conversation on at NOON on Friday, June 10th in the Lazy Owl where we’ll explore sexual health, STIs, stigma, personal, and systemic responsibility through a Queer lens.
