Join on Zoom at 12pm on September 10th:

Every Friday, before you head out with your friends, or on a date, or to a party - we're encouraging you to think about sex … and sexual health.

Once a month join UR Pride, ta-tawâw Student Centre, Planned Parenthood Regina & URSU Sexual Health Outreach for Sexual Health Friday.

Part sexual health clinic, part panel discussion, part q&a (and totally entertaining) , Sexual Health Friday is happening on Zoom and, in person, on campus.

Join us between 12pm-3pm to listen to our panel discussion and get your sexual health questions answered, or request a private breakout room with Nurse Angela from Planned Parenthood Regina to arrange for STI Screening, pregnancy testing, or to arrange for a birth control prescription.

If you're on campus, you can drop by and see us in College West at Room CW117 between 1pm-3pm. We'll have our information booth set up in the hallway where you can pick up some safer sex supplies and one of our "stick it to stigma" stickers to support us in de-stigmatizing all things sexual health by sharing on social media and using our hashtag #tgishf

Nurse Angela will also be on campus for anyone wanting an in person appointment for STI screening, pregnancy testing, or to chat about birth control.

If you happen to be on campus, you can also head down to the ta-tawâw student centre to catch the discussion panel live or stop in to see kēr from UR Pride who will have H.I.V self testing kits available.

For all in person activities, please follow the University of Regina Covid-19 guidelines for vaccinations or testing, self-assessment for symptoms, social distancing & masking.
All clinic services are discreet, judgement-free, and 2slgbtqia+ affirming. Students who wish to access the on-campus clinic services do not need to have a Saskatchewan health care card.

Our first panel discussion will be about consent & how to navigate all of the ins and outs of consent from a harm reduction & sex positive perspective. Our guest panelist this month is Celeste Seiferling.

Celeste (she/her) is a queer trauma therapist living on Treaty 4 territory. She is working to decolonize therapy, with a focus on sex and sexuality, gender and identity, and relationships. She is a feminist killjoy, and a nature enthusiast. When she's not working, you can find her teaching aerial arts, dancing in her kitchen, or exploring with her 4-legged or 2-legged dependents.

Also joining the panel will be Sexual Health Friday organizers:

Brendan Campbell (they/them) from UR Pride
Taylor Soderberg (she/her) from ta-tawâw Student Centre
Taryn Wahl (they/she) from Planned Parenthood
Robin Hilton (she/her) from URSU Sexual Health Outreach

The sexual health clinic starts at 1pm either online or on campus.
